Hi Everyone,
It’s been a while since I’ve been to my blog. With opening up a new bait shop in the local area where I live and getting ready for opening day back on May 3rd, things have been moving along rather quickly for me. As if that wasn’t enough I just had to go and join SU as a demonstrator on May 21st. Talk about a whirlwind! Whew!
So, I am sorry for not showing more cards and other goodies I’ve been creating. I am however going to show you my latest card that I have created for a very special couple I know.
I used the “Love Letters” stamps from Stampin Up! (now retired). I embossed the letters in silver. I then layered them on very vanilla, ballet blue, and bashful blue. The patterned paper came from one of those big books called Vibrant pads. I put a scallop in the center and used my coluzzle for both the ballet blue circle and the sentiment circle. The sentiment is from one of the mini catalogs. I did a really silly thing. When I got my stamps (which is the first set I got from SU that wasn’t retired and already mounted and labeled), I didn’t realize the name of the stamp set was included. So, I threw out the label for my box. :( If you know the name of this set, be a dear and let me know so I can write it on my box? What a dumb bunny I was. hehehehe
I drew a little heart with a precision marker and filled it in using my stampin pastels just below the sentiment. The ribbon is shear organza (offray ribbon). To finish it off I used my diamond brads in two different sizes along with a couple of heart brads. I thought it turned out very nicely. :)
And if you know the name of the stamp set for the “Note Of Love” sentiment, please! please! please! let me know!
cheers till the next time….
Cherie
