Hi fellow stampers!
Time to get cracking on another tutorial. I had a wonderful visitor the other day. It was Dannie Graves. She stopped by and left me a wonderful comment about my Scallop Box. I used her video tutorial. Now she’s curious about how I made my box lid. Especially, since I didn’t have the handy-dandy-nifty-Five-In-One Cover-template-thingy-ma-bob. So, when you don’t have something and you want to do it bad enough you learn to improvise. Right? I improvised by using my Coluzzle. If you haven’t read my post on June 16, you might want to now. Because in a few short moments you are going to read about a contest that will be including some wonderful new items from Stampin Up! out of my own personal inventory. But, I am getting ahead of myself as usual. :) Can you tell I am excited to share these new products with you? hahahaha
I’ve decided to show her and all of you other wonderful stampers who have been coming to my blog lately what my aha! moment was all about. BUT, before I do, there’s a twist. You had to know there would be a twist. :)
I’ve decided to make this a little contest for one of you to win some blog candy. The first person who not only can guess correctly what my aha! moment was, but also how you “think” I created my lid after my aha! moment will receive the prizes below. For more information read my post on June 16.
I will be giving away some brand new card stock and designer series paper from Stampin Up’s New Fall/Winter catalog. The first person who not only guesses correctly about the “aha” moment when it comes to: “Is the top made of one piece or many?” But ALSO the same person who can guess how I used my “hidden gem” will receive the following:
The lucky winner of my contest will receive:
5 SHEETS OF CARD STOCK FROM EACH NEW COLOR GROUP IN STAMPIN UP’S NEW “IN COLOR” SERIES
5 Sheets – Baja Breeze
5 Sheets – Kiwi Kiss
5 Sheets – Pacific Point
5 Sheets – Pink Pirouette
5 sheets of Riding Hood Red
5 sheets of Tangerine Tango
A Grand Total of 30 Sheets of Card Stock In The Newest Colors BEFORE the actual ordering date of August 11th for anyone who is not a demonstrator! Tell me ….How cool is that?!?
PLUS…
If that isn’t enough I am also including….*drum roll please*…..
ONE “COMPLETE PACKAGE OF STAMPIN UP’S NEW BELLA ROSE” DESIGNER SERIES PAPER!
(12 sheets 2 each of 6 double-sided designs). Omg..*I’m nearly fainting from all this excitement right now*
42 Sheets!!!!! Aye Carumba! I must be insane! Not really. :) I just believe in sharing. *big grin*
Now remember, this is from my own personal inventory that I am about to receive from SU. You cannot order these items yet. So if you’ve been drooling over this card stock and designer series paper, and you want some of it – now is the time to get in on a chance to win them for free!
All you have to do is post a comment on here on this post about how you think I created the top of my box. Is it one? or many? pieces. How DID I make that lid? hmmmm…I wonder…..I like to think it is a brain teaser. :)
If you like brain teasers, then this is sure to suit your fancy. *grins*
The contest will end at Midnight CDT (Central Daylight Time) on Friday August 1, 2008
Once the contest is over, I will reveal the “Scallop Box Lid Mystery” in a tutorial on Sunday August 3rd.
Also, I will post a picture of all the paper you will receive as the winner when my order arrives. Which looks like it will be the end of this week. *big grin* I sure hope so. Otherwise, I am going to look pretty foolish.
Good Luck to all of you!
Cherie
