Housewarming

Above is the card layout that I chose for the kids “Thank You” cards. I think it turned out rather nicely. It’s a clean uncluttered design. Nothing fancy. I had to make 16 of them in a short amount of time. So, I wanted them to be rather simple yet casually elegant. I hope I have achieved this? :)

Here’s what I used:

  • For the base: cream colored corduroy paper (From Michael’s)
Layer 1: Bohemian Chic – Earthtones (From Michael’s)
For the Scallop I used: Color sense – Iris/*Blueberry side*(dbl sided) also pierced on each scallop. (From Michael’s)
Layer 3: I punched a 1 3/4″ circle stamped with a clear stamp both for the center and edges.
Layer 4: Orange 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon.
Oval punch for the “Thank You” sentiment
Ink: Color Box Pigment Petal Points Enchantment Set: I blended sky blue and heliotrope on the edge of the punched circle and the oval.
Brads: Making Memories – antique copper mini circle (3 per card)
