New Look

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. It’s been a wonderful crazy two weeks. As some of you may know, my sister and nephew came for a visit from Aug. 13-17. We had a wonderful time. All my nephew wanted to do was fish! fish! fish! Which was just fine by me. We had a great time. His last day here he caught a really nice good size Rock Bass. Of course we just had to take a picture and it is just darling. As soon as I can have them copied over to my laptop I will post them. We also went to see the IRA Outlaws. A group of drivers who drive Sprint cars. It was exciting and fun to watch my nephew enjoy the races. We then stayed the same night to watch Columbine’s smash into one another. It was a hoot. I’ve never experienced this before and it was quite funny to watch these slow moving vehicles wreck into one another. I miss living near my sister. We used to hang out for hours on end. Needless to say our nights together while she was visiting were often till 4am in the morning. But, I didn’t care one bit. Even when I woke up at 8 or 9am in the morning to do it again and again and again. After they left I was feeling a bit lonesome. I didn’t feel like doing much at all. My best friend was gone and I felt lost and had no direction. That went on for about a week. But, once I got past this point, I was able to start focusing on the blog and other aspects of life.

I’ve been trying to get things organized for the blog so that things will be easier to find. I feel the theme I chose at this time will work for all of us much better. Hopefully, it’s laid out better in terms of navigation. It still needs some tweaking though. So, hopefully I will get it the way I want real soon and it will be good to go for a while.

My “Page Menu” has changed. You’ll notice it has a few new listings one which is called “Page Archives”. I feel at this point if something is older than 6 months or the page no longer applies to current events it will be put here. I also added Promotions and Contact. Promotions is an area where I will place anything new regarding special events, promotional sales, and things of this nature regarding Stampin’ Up and/or projects I plan to sell in the future.

Eventually, some items will be deleted altogether in order to maintain my disk space usage with WordPress. But, have no fear. If you truly need a page I’ve deleted from my blog I will have saved it on my local machine. I don’t think my contact page needs an explanation. :)

I also plan to have a special download page as well. So that any items you wish to download such as the catalog or special flyers in (PDF format) can be easily reached in one central location instead of you trying to have to search a number of posts or pages to get to the link. :) Well, time to make dinner.
