New Kid On The Block!

New Kid On The Block - The Big Shot!

Wow!!!!!!

Nothing could be more exciting than a new “kid” tool on the block. Stampin’ Up! recently announced that they will be offering the Sizzix Big Shot ($99.95) and exclusive Stampin’ Up! dies for customers beginning September 2. How exciting! This powerful tool (a 6-time winner of Creating Keepsakes Reader’s Choice Award) will be able to perform all sorts of wonderful things for you, for example…

  • manually die cut
  • emboss
  • cut through card stock (up to 8 sheets..**more on this in a minute)
  • cut or emboss Stampin’ Up!’s own designer series paper

I’ve included a list of materials this bad boy will be able to handle. See for yourself. There are “50″ of them. Jiminy Crickets! Oh but wait, there’s more! (I’ve always wanted to say that. lol) You will also be able to get specialty templates for boxes and envelope that not only have scallops, but pre-scored lines as well! I don’t know about you, but this is all very exciting. But, that isn’t even the half of it. I know can you believe it!?!

**There are also special dies called Bigz that can cut up to 8 layers of card stock (How much time do you think you will be able to save when creating invitations for a large wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, or any other special event?)

More importantly, for those of you who already have a die cut machine like the Cuttlebug (that’s what I have), you’ll find the Big Shot works with most other dies and embossing folders including the Cuttlebug. You’re not going to want to miss this “new kid” on the block. Stay tuned for more details. All the exclusive dies, and accessories will all be available for ordering through my online website or me personally beginning September 2, 2008

  1. What is PEP and where do you find it?

  2. Carmen,
You have a great question. I called Stampin’ Up! and they did not have the answer. So, I wrote to Sizzix. I am still waiting for their reply. Once I have the answer I will let you know. :)

  3. Have you heard back from Sizzix yet? I’m really curious where to get Personal Embossing Plastic. I heard that is what PEP stands for.

  4. Hello everyone….
Here is the information I have received from Sizzix regarding the PEP.

Personal Embossing Plastic (PEP) can be found on http://www.Ellison.com. Once you are on the site, type in Embossing in the search field. They have two different sizes of PEP. Here are the links to the two different sizes.
